The Legal Environment of Business: Text and Cases -- Ethical, Regulatory, Global, and E-Commerce Issues Hardcover

It is obvious that this book would not be on top of my summer reading list, but it is required reading for my business law class.

Although the legal jargon can be intimidating, it has a tendency to put humorous examples and case studies in the most unexpected times, just enough to keep it halfway interesting. Good for what it is, but I'd suggest taking a faster version of this class if they are available.

Legal framework for Business is the # 1 text for this course - setting the standard by delivering comprehensive, authoritative and cutting-edge coverage in an interesting and accessible format. His recipe for success includes the same "black letter law" flavor as its # 1 Business Law counterpart Business Law by Clarkson, Miller, Jentz, and Cross, but with a more specific focus on current topics such as ethics, government regulation and administrative law. The cases, content and functionality of the exciting new 7th edition has been carefully and thoroughly updated, representing the latest developments. An excellent selection of cases varies from landmark precedent in subsequent judgments. Ethical, global, and e-commerce themes are integrated throughout, and numerous critical thinking exercises challenge students to apply what they learned to real world problems. The text also has an outstanding range of support materials - including innovative online teaching and learning resources. It is no wonder that the legal framework for business is used by several colleges and universities than any other business law text.
